September 7, 2016 - Very nice grenache with a slightly sweet tone to its fruit. High quality and very drinkable inspite of its high alcohol.

    May 31, 2016 - Colour: translucent burgundy
Nose: maraschino cherry and cherries preserved in liqueur. A touch of cassis. Turkish delight and icing sugar. There's more dark fruit character than I remember -- blackberry and star anise, tobacco. White pepper. Old oak. Very rich.
Palate: raspberry and cherry liqueur, perhaps cassis. Lots of rich red and black fruit. Sweet spice and old oak, some dark medicinal/cough liquid charter, and perhaps tobacco. At the moment it seems a bit closed and muted, but the lovely smooth creamy mouth feel is still there. The tannins are fine grained, elegant and drying. Berry like acidity, still fresh. Very nice -- rich and full bodied but with some elegance. This should continue to age well and open up with time. 15,5% alcohol.

March 1, 2015 - Nose: Still seems very young. A little closed on first opening, then opened out to give raspberry, cherry and preserved/liquored cherries. Maybe a touch of sweet spice and old oak. Perhaps rosewater.
Palate: Again, opened up with some air. Lots of rich raspberry, cherry and liquored cherry. Rich, unctuous, smooth ... but not over-ripe or jammy. Just enough acidity and fine grained smooth tannins to keep it balanced. Doesn't taste hot, despite the 15.5% alcohol. Just beautifully balanced, rich. Creamy, syrupy mouthfeel. Very good.

November 29, 2014 - Greenock Creek tasting with Jarrod Shields (Cloudwine South Melbourne): Fresh red berries and a fairly dense, but very moorish palette of red fruit and subtle oak with a spicy tannin finish.
