  February 21, 2023 - The cork came out in one solid piece. Not much nose. Color was starting to caramelize. Seemed kinda hot, although for the age it was surprisingly drinkable.

  February 9, 2013 - Pulled it out of the wine fridge (58°) last night, let it decant and warm up for awhile. First taste reminded me of ..........water. That's right - water. No nose, no mid-palate anything, no finish. Sadly, every taste after that said the same thing. Two bads on my part: maybe I waited too long to try this one; and maybe I didn't, and my scoring is too generous.

  July 25, 2007 - Just an easy drinking bordeaux. Soft red fruits, some smoke, easy light finish. Opened up well, the second glass drank better than the first.

  April 16, 2006 - A very open bouquet of spices and berries with a touch of smokiness. Well-balanced, medium bodied wine with plum and spice flavors. Silky. Some chohcolate. Tannins are very well integrated. Decant 45 minutes prior to drinking next time -- opened up wonderfully after bottle was opened.
