August 14, 2022 - KC agreed to crack this with Rib eye so into the decanter it went. After a moderately vigorous agitation it showed wild blackberry and red currant on the nose backed by toasty oak, sweet spice and a fair peppery note. In the mouth the slightly sour red currant fruit took precedence over the darker hued contingent, tannins were lightly textured but tongue tugging and persistent and those peppery notes were very present...made better friends with the toasted walnut/pumpkin/feta/parsley/thyme salad than the steak but pleasant none the less.

August 14, 2020 - Canberra districts whistlestop tour; 8/14/2020-8/15/2020 (Canberra Districts): Blackberry, black pepper, sweet spice, slight vanilla, caramel, leather, earth, very slightly reductive. In the mouth it's juicy, slight sour in fact, chalky tannins are integrated, fleshy fruit a little in the background for me. Hmm.

February 23, 2020 - Soft and plush mouth feel, tannins integrates. Ends a little short.

Herbaceous notes (sage?), with dark chocolate and red fruits on the nose.

Plums and red fruit forward, touch of chewy nougat, hint of cocoa and light pepper through back palate.

    Delicious. Drink now

September 22, 2019 - Quite enjoyable to drink. The aging helped to develop some nutty aromas. Still red fruit dominated with a touch of spice, but not much depth on the palate. Suggest to drink it within 5 years from the vintage. It doesn’t have the fruit concentration for long term cellaring.

December 29, 2017 - Canberra districts whistlestop tour (Canberra Districts): Leathery, savoury black plums over green and black pepper with herbaceous notes that ted to almost capsicum. On the palate it's skinny, very front to back of the palate. Tannins are less well managed. It's a bit out of whack. Nah.
