  September 21, 2019 - Nose - 95. Palate-93. Enjoyed this, and it went way too fast. As often happens, by the last glass it really opened up to reveal a beautiful complex bouquet. Fresh baked cherry cobbler, caramel, cocoa, toasted coconut. Not much in the way of earthy elements, but still a lot going on with this one.

  March 30, 2019 - Has aged wonderfully. Much more ready to drink now than our last bottle in 2015.

  December 12, 2015 - Pop & pour which wasn't the best idea. Too much fruit and oak at first, took about two hours to find its happy place and settle in. A 90 when first opened, a 92 later on. Suggest a one to two hour decant if drinking in near term.

  March 17, 2014 - Not what was expected from an '09 vintage. Even after 5 hours of decanting, exhibited bitter notes on the mid-palate and finish. Good extraction and color, but tannins still rough and un-rounded. No indication of cork failure.

  November 25, 2013 - The Cab is nice and lush, but not so much that it overwhelms the other varietals in this blend. This will improve with a few more years. Dark berry flavors with an interesting nose.
