  April 22, 2024 - Wow, what a treat! The Petite Syrah is not a grape we know so it was sort of new to us, and we loved it. Not as stiff as a Cab or Syrah, but not as soft as a Grenache or Merlot, kind of right in the middle. Full-flavored and very smooth, a pleasure with linguine in white clam sauce... a 4-star home dinner :)

  December 14, 2020 - Tasted blind. Dark fruit, menthol, spices, some plums, and a hint of VA on the nose. Great acidity with fresh, red berries and sweet fruit on the palate. Long and lingering finish. This was surprisingly good and was still fresh and relatively young.

  February 1, 2015 - Wow - this wine is in a lovely space. Winediamonds55 puts it perfectly, score and all. I've lugged this wine halfway around the world since I bought it in the mid-90's - glad I did!

  April 26, 2014 - Wonderful! still full of fruit combined with tertiary aromas. Fresh black fruits, still a hint of oak and nicely resolved tannins.
