  January 6, 2016 - PnD let air for 1hr. Dark crimson not saturated with plum to violet rim. Musky red and black raspberry strawberry compote and sage on the nose. Medium(-) weight with slightly though not unpleasantly gritty tannin. Classic grenache raspberry fruit with a nice herbal and mineral note. Pleasantly astringent dry lingering raspberry cordial on the finish. Old world style but clean. Needs air and/or cellaring.

  October 5, 2015 - Dark red. Red fruit, not ripe, though. Red fruit flavor of medium+ concentration with an unripeness to the finish. Don't rebuy.

  September 15, 2013 - first off, this is tasty enough but a little to artificial to give higher points. I'm kind of sad as seems quite different from the '09. There were not the '10/'11 vintages available at local store...seemed to jumped to the 2012. So the color and nose lets you know what to expect - semi-electric purlple in glass with almost candied red raspberry fruit. Palate is rich wit same as well as a hint of red licorice. Comes off candied or kind of contrived. Maybe some cassis quality there also. On the whole is just not coming together for me - served cool or room temp. MAYBE 2 years from now maybe better, not sure if i will cellar.
