July 30, 2017 - Okay, this was pretty foul and rubbery, even after a double decant and a bit of air on day one. It was argon spritzed and popped into the fridge and then consumed with rib roast two days later and it had calmed considerably in the interim period. Touches of violets and slightly anonymous black fruits on the nose backed by a little woody spice and extremely soft and easy on the palate, broad but without any discernible tannins (though that may have been because of the protein). Inoffensive enough on the second go.

October 9, 2014 - Six nations tasting (Pyrmont): Slight cork taint over jammy plummy fruit on the nose. In the mouth the wine is quite sour. Sigh

April 8, 2014 - The nose is clean and developing, showing pronounced intensity aromas of plums, blackberries, ripe red fruits and vanilla. The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium acidity. It has medium+ soft tannins and medium+ alcohol. It has a medium+ body and medium+ intensity flavours of plums, blackberries, ripe red fruits and vanilla. The finish is medium.
