September 16, 2018 - Coravin sample. Sweet violets, dark ripe cherry aroma, inviting nose
Good acidity, round and filling fruit , earthy notes, a big mid palate, Finishes slightly warm and oaky. Very good, soft and accessible Syrah, very Californian. Would I buy again...local price is probably good but at 60 USD you can find more interesting alternatives. -

December 12, 2017 - Black pepper, smoked meat and flowers on the nose. This medium bodied wine could pass for a nice St. Joseph if not for a candied sweetness that comes in late in the mouth. Very nice.
