September 17, 2020 - Finally getting around to trying one of these (of my 2). Transparent garnet, hinting towards bricking a bit at the edges. Smells really nice, with notes of cherry, rose petals, licorice, smoke, and dried spices. Light to medium body, medium acid and finish, and flavors of high toned red fruits, bitter orange peel, and lemon. A bit more interesting on the nose than palate, but a nice wine all around nonetheless. I like it. Food versatile for lighter fare—this one works with poultry, fish, and veggie, and certainly pork. I'd say cellar temp to slightly cooler is the call here.

September 8, 2015 - Cool climate and very food friendly. Red fruits with balanced acidity and tannin.

April 9, 2015 - This was fantastic and a really nice surprise. Very unique for a Spanish Garnach in my opinion. Fans of wines like Alto Moncayo or Tres Picos need not apply. Incredibly light colored, like a pinot, very clear. Very aromatic, lots of red fruit, spice and some earth. More rhone like, but cool climate influence, high toned red fruit, nice acid, very peppery and spicy with some earthy notes and grippy tannins on the finish. Really liked this quite a bit, and wish I bought more than 2 bottles.
