Community Tasting Notes 8

November 19, 2020 - 7 years since my last bottle. Dark golden color, nose of crushed limestone and granny smith apple. Citrus and salinity up front, viscous creamy texture without being buttery. Mouth coating with a tart, mineral-laced crushed stone finish. Very tasty.

January 14, 2017 - This wine is drinking beautifully. Lemon and brioche on the nose with some herbs (thyme) and Lemon, tangerine, thyme, brioche and some salinity on the palate. It is very round on the palate and has a long finish.

July 19, 2015 - This bottle consistent with my last note with the yeast taking a bigger place this time up front. This is a $60 bottle hiding in a $36 cost and so worth the freight for a low oak acid lover like me? They have this vineyard dialed in for each vintage I have had. Old world style with good acid bite. This drinking well now with no signs of dropping off. I'll be in for 2014 vintage if they are working with Brosseau. If you are a Wine Berserker forum user, then the WB offer day in January is the place to find these at a even better price.(Peak at their Pinot's while you are there. Posting good scores if you into that.)

April 5, 2014 - Liquid Farm / Chard Double Blind- Dallas (Classic Wine Storage- Dallas): Wine #10 in a line up of 15 blind chards (preceded by Lioco Hanzell 2011). Very strange nose that gave the impression that the wine extremely cold but it was around 60 degrees or warmer when I tasted it. Somewhat generic chardonnay nose. The palate was very tart with some lemon and maybe a hint of apples. Consistent medium length finish. Medium acidity. 88-89
