January 5, 2015 - Very light and surprisingly took a bit of time to "open up". A little too much acidity and not enough fruit to round it out. I think this wine is a bit past its prime.

May 27, 2014 - pop and pour. This bottle was rocking from the get go. dark cherry skins on the nose with some earth and truffle. light mouthfeel but more cherries and earth on the palate. Finish is linear but goes on for miles. Great with foie stuffed quail and lentils at St. Jack.

December 25, 2008 - Tart and bitter right out the bottle, but opens and softens nicely after about 4 hours in the decanter. Big dried cherry/floral nose, average weight (for Pinot), and a pretty big palate-coating mouth. Still a decent $20ish PN, but an average to poor $40 wine (suggested retail).
