August 6, 2014 - PnD let air for 1hr. Bright crimson purple not saturated with violet rim. Earthy tobacco clay cedar with a stemmy note and a hint of cherry on the nose. Medium weight with stemmy tannins. Oak and herbal notes dominate and clash on the palate fruit came through a bit more as time went on. May need more time will see what the other half of the bottle shows tomorrow.
Disappointing on day 2 fruit faded and oak more forward. Would not buy again. -1 -
