May 1, 2015 - Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for one hour. Aromas of cherry, espresso, dried herbs, black licorice and forest floor. Ripe cherries, licorice, espresso and gripping tannins on the palate. Leads to a medium to long finish. Medium bodied. Once again, young, vibrant and pretty. Paired with gnocchi parmigiana.

April 17, 2015 - Popped and poured. Aromas of cherry, dried herbs, forest floor, coffee and vanilla. Cherry, spice and espresso on the palate lead to a medium to long finish. Medium bodied. Excellent value. Paired with gnocchi.

December 28, 2014 - Clear, ruby-red in the glass. Cherry aromas fill the nose, along with anise and perhaps some mint. Bright cherry, raspberry on the palate with long tobacco finish. Not too firm nor too plush, with a healthy amount of acidity. All-in-all, a very nice, well-balanced, and concentrated Chianti.
2nd bottle: 1/5/14: similar to first. Very Good. Concentrated. -
