April 23, 2021 - Nowhere near as enjoyable as the 2010, but a rather pedestrian Bordeaux. Not sure if more time will help, but maybe.

March 26, 2020 - This wine is drinking fantastically now and is a big surprise. A special bottling from Chateau Larose Trintaudon, this has it all. Beautiful perfume, tender mouth texture and just the right acidity for meal matching. It’s not cheap but it is a testament to the huge holdings of this estate and what they can do with careful selection and aging in 100% new wood. You won’t be disappointed.

May 16, 2019 - Plum Market Spring Wine Extravaganza (Chicago, IL): Very cool expression of a Bordeaux blend. A touch of graphite and lead pencil, with a leathery note and some black fruit. Classically styled and quite nice.
