August 21, 2022 - First bottle from a case to check on development. One-hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. Muted notes during decant of tobacco and plums. After resting, wine was clear, no sediment to speak of. Garnet bowl to rim, no signs of age. Nose opened somewhat, fruit was more pronounced. Some cherry and spices. Pretty soft in the mouth. Great party wine.

December 17, 2021 - Stellar. Could stand some more years in the cellar but perfectly drinkable as it stands. Dark tobacco notes, a spicy finish, lovely with a chicken.

January 13, 2020 - Not bad, some interest peeking through, but a couple more years will do this good.

May 9, 2017 - Concentrated nose with dark fruits. However this wine is a bit too green for my liking at the finish.

October 22, 2016 - Medium bodied, forward, open wine with soft, round textures, fresh, dark red fruits, smoke, thyme and espresso notes. Easy to drink and easy to like, this will be best in its first 10-12 years of life.
