July 14, 2019 - Lovely dark amber color; excellent complex aromas of lavender honey, ripe apricot, unripe guava, touch earth tones, nectarine pit, charcoal; good lift, slight burned aspect. Very cool. EWG Entre Nous

January 25, 2017 - Color: Dark golden yellow.

Nose: Peaches, plums, slate, something akin to black rubber/hydrocarbons.

Palate: Big stone fruits. Unfortunately unlike the tasters below, I thought that this wine was dominated by cloying sweetness with not enough acid to hold everything together. Given the age, I was expecting some more complexity than was delivered.

In summary, a pleasant enough wine, but not really interesting or exciting to me at all.

February 7, 2008 - Cocktail party at home with Joe & Alison. A fabulous showing for this wine. Really exuberant, medium to full bodied wine that screamed Rotenberg with it's mix of smoke and roasted pit fruits. Nice sweetness that was present but never obtrusive. A real hit with everyone. This still has some room for further improvement as well. A real gem. 50+13+13+9+9 = 94+

April 12, 2006 - 1st Seder at Mom's house. Medium gold in the glass, this medium bodied wine presented some sweetness, but not a tremendous amount, some smoke and roasted fruits. All of this was wrapped in the exuberance typical of a Rotenberg and followed by a medium length finish. 50+12+12+8+8 = 90
