May 13, 2021 - First day looking and feeling a little advanced. Nevertheless there are aromas of honey, some lemon. On the second day things are moving more with the presence of more orchard fruit but I remain surprised at the relative subtlety of the nose.

Nice chakly texture with a surprising amount of citrus rind leaning towards bitter orange, nutmeg, cream, a large expression of grapefruit, again some honeyed characteristics. Lemon, white peach on the long finish the builds in fine chalky grip. Two weeks later and still I'm contemplating the clear depiction of chalk and citrus rind.

This provided great pleasures but I did find it a bit hard to pin down, at one moment being full and complex, and at another being elusive and withholding. I wonder if this needs an extended rest or if it's succumbing to something insidious.

September 26, 2018 - Roast corn (I’ve never had this note on an white burgundy before!), tart apples, pears, stone fruit, wax. A LOT going on here, though still young. Has potential to be amazing in 5 years.

August 26, 2018 - still very young. profile is very layered: first fruit with lots of cut, then richness and finishes quite long with more subtle fruit. lovely texture and became more balanced as the evening wore on. I wouldn't place this in the pantheon of great white burgs, but very good nonetheless.
