  July 30, 2013 - Loved this wine, at Positano, complex long cherry fruit and chestnut, with smoky leather. Ready to drink, was a nice accompanyment with red pasta. Superb.

  April 14, 2010 - Just a touch of brick on the rim. Forward nose of raspberry and mushroom and just a touch of leather. The palate is smooth with good intensity, great acidity and balance. Good length. In its prime. Drink now to 2015.

  May 13, 2008 - Excellent, although not traditional Ital sangio wine. Dark color moving to brick orange at the rim. Medium-full body with dark fruit showing secondary characteristics. Similar to a very good right bank bdx. Seems to be at or close to peak.

  August 30, 2007 - We just love this wine! Big super Tuscan with lots of smoke, earth, leather, cherry. Soft tannins and and is ready to drink NOW. Drank with braised short ribs as a main course. Fantastic.
