March 19, 2017 - Initial pnp, nose seemed pretty closed up. Really starts to show after about 2 hrs. Dry dark fruit, herbs (sage, tomato leaf, maybe dill), mature. Body hits all the good points, not overbearing, mostly resolved tannin, good acid. Very enjoyable aged Bordeaux, not super complex, probably not a wow your friends wine, but a great Wednesday night at home steak wine. QpR is decent.

February 21, 2017 - Orange rimb, shows its age.
    Fully tertiary aromas...
Still fresh though, good acidity and some tanins left.

January 29, 2017 - 87-89: Nice mature Bordeaux drinking well now but still has some time left

December 23, 2015 - In good condition after many years. Beautiful color! Excellent integration. But quite thin and low in fruit, and actually not that many different aromas. But the fine integration, the old bottle and the color gives it 87-88 p.

September 6, 2015 - A lean, savoury, classic claret - a Michael Broadbent luncheon wine. However while I normally love this classical retained style, this was a little hollow for me. I suspect it will be on a plateau of maturity for some while but doubt that it will improve.
