Community Tasting Notes 2

April 7, 2024 - Nice to revisit this after a couple years. Nothing has changed and it is still amazing.

December 13, 2022 - Drank over 4 hours. Initially quite thick and rich but over 2 hours this really opened up--though still holding back by Leroy standards. Beefy dark fruit with ever growing red fruit notes on the nose and palate. Amazing energy and concentration with loads of dark Leroy spice. This is so expressive it is hard to believe it is a Volnay 1er Cru. But even if it were not, it would still be damn tasty. I love this. And happy I have more.
