  March 6, 2009 - Opened this about 5 hours before drinking and the nose was getting me very interested- classic claret with some fruit and wood in the mix. Nice deep red colour, palate was a bit muted compared to the nose. Good core of cassis and, |I think, blackberries slightly tannic, medium finish. All in all a pleasant wine, for the money good value.

  February 28, 2009 - Nice dark colour red. On the nose, strong sour cherries - a bit of oak, a bit of blueberries and a touch of heat too.
  The sour cherries comes through dominantly on the taste, not a lot else. Short finish. Agreed that the nose was more interesting then the taste, a bit one dimensional and a bit too tart for my taste. Simple wine, 85-86pts
