October 28, 2017 - Really disappointed in this. I had high hopes but there was no real sense of varietal characteristic. This was very singular and monotone. There was a supremely clipped finish as well. Might be an off bottle but this was very lackluster.

September 10, 2017 - Wow, what a difference a year makes. In late 2016 I really enjoyed this. This time it was flat and simple, both on PnP, with some air and attempted at night two, when the remainder was dumped. It drank like basic supermarket fare and came on too ripe, sweet, and manufactured. Not really "bad" and could have worked against spiced, grilled meat.

November 6, 2016 - This was very nice. No notes. On PnP it showed a nice, not overpowering array of dark fruits. Give this air! It really started to shine after it had been open for an hour. The last glass was the best one, showing spicebox, minerality, tar, dried herbs, leather, and earth. Wish I'd scored more.
