February 28, 2024 - Stunning spice with red and blue fruit with a touch of earth. Light but powerful in the palate. Fresh and youthful. Doesn’t have the depth of the 2002 but this was more enjoyable tonight.

April 8, 2023 - Easter Saturday (Chicago, IL): This was drinking so well right from the get-go. Classic Dujac spice aromatics on the nose, with a distinct note of mature red berries. Very much into its secondary phase, this is fully resolved with a silky texture on the finish. Plush and generous for most of the evening, though the last sips of this did seem to start falling off. In hindsight, the right idea would have been to drink the 2000 fully first, before moving to the 2001 that we also had open alongside. Probably something to enjoy sooner rather than later -- the 2000 vintage has been really in the zone for the last few years now.

February 13, 2023 - Good bottle of wine. Very good nose. Very enjoyable. Agree that it's not getting any better.

September 9, 2022 - 200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Nose of red fruit, citrus even, earthy elements as well. On the palate a bit too acidic for a higher score. In a good vintage this can be among the very best wines in all of Burgundy.

June 4, 2022 - Solid, enjoyable. I don’t suspect these will improve further and would drink them vs hold.
