December 13, 2020 - Pleasant surprise. 1 hour decant. Vegetal at first. Then fantastic with food. Feels light but fruit still there.

August 18, 2019 - Bu chez Carole et Sylvie avec la Lasagne 12 couches faites de pâtes et sauce maison.
Ouvert et mis en carafe 30 minutes, dépot substanciel.
Remis en bouteille non bouchée pour 2 heures.
Superbe nez sur les fruits rouges, les herbes et
les épices.
En bouche, suave, souple et bien complexe.
Cerises noires et bleuets avec un peu de cèdre
et d`anis. Les tanins sont fins
et la finale hyper longue. Super bien équilibré
rien n`accroche.

January 1, 2016 - This was a nice Sangiovese with typical acidity, minerality and supple body. Dark dry wine with some earthiness and expresso. Long but slightly metallic finish for me. Decanted for over 6 hours to soften the tannins. A beef, fig and goat cheese dish accompanying it helped it tremendously and it was a good food wine

June 2, 2014 - Dark layers of fruit with some vanilla/spice make this a beautiful wine to enjoy with or without food.
