  September 9, 2023 - JMOORE431 has is absolutely right, if anything I found even more fruit in the wine than his notes imply. Hard to believe since it is almost 7 years since his note was posted. Dark red cherry, plum, blackberry, raspberry, touch of wood, earthy notes, rich palate that coats the mouth and still some very fine ripe tannins show up at the end. This bottle was shipped directly from the winery two years ago and has been resting since. One of the wines I will remember for pure hedonistic enjoyment rather than cerebral excitement.

  November 15, 2016 - A truly remarkable wine! Meaty, savory nose, beef bouillon and gorgeous mature dark fruit with iron and celery salt; beautifully refined, silky palate. Remarkable power, complexity and huge finish. A joy to drink this. Looking at my previous note, the consistency of these two bottles was amazing. These were definitely NOT later releases as the corks, while intact, were quite fragile.
