November 3, 2017 - Light body, somewhat sour, short finish. Phoning it in.

May 21, 2016 - is there such a thing as high class swill? we liked the first taste but could not easily stomach a second one. i feel swindled at $32 for this when a $23 evening land pinot noir is much better. my apologies to those with a different opinion. 10 years ago we drank many bottles of the big brother, clerc milon, at $ 40. sigh.... i am just saying, if you liked clerc milon 5-10 years ago, don't buy this.
Trying again the next night, still after two small swallows I am getting a headache, almost unheard of for me with red wine. And this wine is already 9 years old. I am far from expert, but from my limited experience, this suggests grapes sourced from vines that are too young.
10 days later: I have not been able to convince my wife even to use this in cooking. We used a bit of it in a sauce but the rest sits abandoned on the counter. plonk city.
6-4-2016: well this seems to me to have a bright delicious flavor that should work well in a stew, but it's just not drinkable. -

January 12, 2016 - Not dry, not juicy. Extremely even. Almost coats your mouth vs overwhelming it.

March 8, 2015 - Merchant tasting Bordeaux 2007. Medium garnet. Expressive nose of earthy, musty tones with a bit of green pepper, classical Medoc, good complexity for this price level. Medium bodied, soft on the palate but a bit rustic and the remaining fruit struggles to support the acidity level. Late, drink up.

March 7, 2015 - To be honest this disappointed for a 8-year old Bordeaux. Tasted alongside a Haut-Medoc and a St Estephe and secondaries were relatively murky, mainly primaries even after leaving in the bottle for three hours and glass for 20 mins at 20 degrees.
