  August 17, 2014 - Lacks character. Deep brick red with solid core. Restrained nose of dark forest fruits. Mid weight palate with some of those forest fruits continuing, with fine rounded tannins and a shortish finish.

  April 1, 2014 - Better than the other reviews. Not a great wine, but for the price, a good value. Nice strawberry/raspberry flavors, but not as fruity as some other "light" wines. Quite nice at a very good price.

  November 20, 2013 - Attractive deep purple colour. The nose, though, is less attractive: musty, slightly vegetal, stalky, with (if I strain my nostrils) faint whiffs of cherry and maybe liquorice..and something that reminds me of chlorinated swimming pools. Over a couple of hours the fruit seems to be coming slightly more to the fore, though the mustiness is still there too. On the palate, a fair dose of acidity, and some medium grained tannins. I'd heard good things about Gran Cerdo, but this bottle at least is a disappointment. 13%.
