  March 21, 2021 - Colheita & Madeira Tasting (Sammamish, Washington): Golden tawny in color. Notes of oxidation, espresso powder, maple syrup, and a touch of orange spice underneath. Very nice, elegant mouthfeel with more of the espresso notes and lively acidity. Some interesting tropical fruit notes appearing on the long finish.

  December 16, 2016 - Notes of slightly sweetish dried fruits, dried orange peel, furniture polish, mahogany and crème of roast chestnuts dominate the bouquet. Wonderful depth, structure and concentration on the palate, combined with good drive and an excellently long-lasting finish, which is accompanied by nutty flavors.
  
  Noten von leicht süßlichem Dörrobst, getrockneten Orangenschalen, Möbelpolitur, Mahagoni und Maronencreme im Bouquet. Am Gaumen eine wunderbare Tiefe, tolle Struktur und Konzentration, gepaart mit schönem Trinkfluss und einer ausgezeichneten Länge im Abgang.

  September 25, 2010 - Fabulous. Nutty and sweet nose. First notes are of walnuts and dried apricots. Next candied fruits, chocolate, peach and a hint of caramel.
