March 2, 2016 - Medium(-) ruby, transparent, very slowmoving legs @13.8% abv. Medium(-) aroams of licorice, underbush/leaves, cigarbox. Dry, medium(-)-high acidity, low tannin, medium(+) alcohol, medium body. Medium flavors of burnt red fruit, black fruit jam, cherry sweets, licorice and some pepper in the back palate. Medium length dry finish, soemwhat harsh acidity, rustic tannins. Warm, overripe and not appealing. This wine does not hang.

May 16, 2014 - Very nice vintage, has come along way from first bottling a few yeas ago. Nice fruit, could use some more age in the bottle, but very good now
