May 30, 2023 - 11th of 12, opened 45 minutes, cork half stained, perfect level, a pleasant surprise given previous bottles (last in 2016), has come together well with nicely nuanced fruit flavours if with usual Corton hard edge but underlying power, hard to see upside but I felt that in 2016 and these 95s have taken an age to start to show, drink but no real rush. F (17.5).

September 9, 2016 - Red fruit (cherry), strong acidity / perhaps a bit shrill. Spice. Nice finish. Perhaps better evolved with a few more years. Better with some air. Fruit fills out. Cherry fruit, nice spice. Good acidity. Slight sappiness to the fruit.

September 9, 2016 - 10th of 12, pnp, perfect cork and level, previous notes variable from good to fine - mature colour and flavour profile, red fruits now tending to cherry, medium bodied, quite pure and long, just a little simple, fruit losing energy, drink up. VG+ (16.5).

May 2, 2012 - Color of root beer. No resemblance to wine. Horrible to smell and taste. Dead. No score.

December 1, 2011 - WCC Grand Cru Red Burgundy (Fort Orange Club, Albany, NY): Sweet black cherries. Mildly tannic. Slight green streak. Maybe needs a few years?
