Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Bellissimo Likes this wine:

December 14, 2016 - Well this over delivers! Almost reminds me of a combination of older Bordeaux / Northern Rhone. Coffee, leather, dried tea leaves, blackberry, plum and cured meats. Lingering tannins leave a long impression yet it is not drying.

An intellectual wine you want to follow over several hours. Found myself nose buried in the glass for minutes without brining to my lips.

Punching way above its price point. Well done Red Mountain, well done Mr. Rich!

October 16, 2011 - I liked this wine a lot, powerful fruit, peppery, pleasant vegetal aroma and taste, but was just "too much" and overpowered everything we had for dinner.
