November 30, 2014 - Lighter/thinner style, but very enjoyable with bramble red fruit and pepper flavors. Not intense or long, but a well balanced wine that's good at the table. 88.

September 26, 2014 - Very light in color with a spicy, berrylike nose. Although a bit thin, it is very fruity on the palate - too much so for my taste - and lacks the degree of spiciness I like in a good Zin. There's not a lot going on here, just simple fruit flavors with little structure or complexity. Moderate finish. Drinkable, but there are so many better, modestly priced Zinfandels out there that I would not waste my time on this. Pass.

July 24, 2014 - Nice purple rim color. Nose of black pepper. Palate of blackberries, plums, and raison, baking spice on the finish. Some alcohol comes through on the finish as well. Fairly balanced for a zin but pretty simple.
