April 13, 2024 - PnP, natural cork, 14.5% Alc., powerful dark violet color, no age reflexes at all.
Nose: Violet, velvet aromas of black berries, good depth.
Palate: Good freshness paired with harmonious sweetness, silky tannins, black berries, cherry and plum. Good intensity and length, reminds of Ch9dP, still very young. Exciting how it will taste when it's really fully ripe. At the moment 93-94 pts with upside.
To get into the drug range of 95 pts and more, you need more complexity and depth. It tastes still quite primary fruity.1 person found this helpful Comment -

October 30, 2021 - Dark and enticing aromas leap from the glass. Primarily dark chocolate, liquorice and blackberries. And a powerful cedar note. Really the aromas are everchanging. Moving in a herbaceaous direction. Thereafter a more peppery style. Or a sweeter style towards prune and figs.
Very concentrated but also astonishingly light on its feet. A palate in perfect balance with a deep minerality. Tannins are there but very integrated. A silky mouthfeel ends in a long satisfying finish.2 people found this helpful Comment -

October 15, 2019 - Fabulous .... simply enjoyable wine.
It's aromatics are pure fruit and it's in mouth flavors stunning. Layers and layers of varied flavors. All presented in a balanced expression. Initially flavors are cherry, then plum, then licorice and all just so smooth. Lovely mouthfeel. Ready right now to drink.
