Community Tasting Notes 9

November 5, 2016 - Nose of burnt cherries
first taste was fruity and apple-ish.
with an hour of breathing, this became like a melange of red table grapes and bing cherries. Slightly pithy finish, which I am guessing is the tannins still pushing grape peel and stem sensations. So after the aeration, this became extraordinarily smooth and strawberry-like. Cannot believe this drugstore plonk could age so well. DRINK IT NOW if you still have a bottle knocking around.

after dinner. And I am not a chocoholic., but I craved chocolate during my last few sips, but this would be far more fabulous with lamb of any cut, had it with roast beef and salad and green beans, or with undercooked salmon. I don't know if this means anything
