March 6, 2021 - Raspberry, black cherry, very subtle notes of sous bois; smooth, well structured, showing its age and very slight hints of decay, but with good presence, albeit a little short

March 10, 2019 - Very young looking in the glass. really opened up nicely after 6 hours of air. Nice scents and tastes of cherry, other red fruits and rose petal. delicious

March 9, 2019 - Decanted by a friend at home around 2pm and enjoyed through about 10pm. Very big rich wine with a dense garnet color and no real sign of age.
Chocolate, plum, black cherry, earthy minerals and menthol predominate. Very round and smooth and a perfect pairing with braised short rib and papardelle. -

November 6, 2017 - 1998 DUCKHORN THREE PALMS VINEYARD NAPA MERLOT- the colour was a very light red; the nose had mild essences of red raspberry, red cherry/ berry fruit; in the taste I got more of the same fruit profile with more oomph behind it; it was nicely balanced and seemed to grow in the glass getting bigger and more expressive; showing brilliantly.
