  May 4, 2024 - Nearly black with a maroon edge. Heavy oak spice, earth, and blueberry on the nose. Medium to full bodied, plums, blackberries, pepper, tar, fairly smooth tannins, smoke, good acid, and a long, dark fruited finish. Well made and worth the wait.

  May 20, 2018 - I want to say 94.
  This bottle reeked of success from the moment the cork came out of the bottle. I'm almost embarrassed to say that this was the best bottle that I ever drank. It had it all; plenty of fruit, smoothness, and taste that lasted forever. After I close my eyes, I can still taste it!

  August 4, 2017 - Very similar notes compared to the last bottle. Did not decant. Inky dark with some oak and nice dark fruit notes. Although a little thin compared to other years for this particular wine, it still held up well with our grilled beef.
