May 15, 2017 - Unusual, untamed wine. Heady nose of black berries in bramble, an herbal note throughout thru to the palate. Soft but not mushy, supple.

January 2, 2017 - Norwegian Cruise Line by the glass list (quick impressions) (Jade): Berries and herbs on the palate. Mouth coating. Medium-low, somewhat green, underripe tannin.

July 17, 2015 - Very intense in color and flavor, was hoping it would be balanced as promised but the alcohol aroma was prominent.

June 28, 2015 - Dark ruby color turning violet at the rim with a nose of olives, mocha and dark berries. The palate is juicy, rich and vibrant with acidity on a medium-to-full body and fleshy but attractive on texture nonetheless. Flavors of ripe dark cherry, blackberry, bramble, espresso, tobacco, plum, cranberry, olive, and smoked grille form the core. Everything about this wine says it's perfect for everyday drinking. Finishes long with dusty tannins and a hint of spice. Drink now until 2021.

June 16, 2015 - I really loved this, great character, cocoa and blackberries was an apt description.
