January 12, 2015 - Cab-Lovers Merlot! Simple way of putting it, but there's more to tell. This is a silky, sexy wine. Berries and chocolate with a hint of herbs on the nose, medium on the tongue with warm fruit compote, cocoa powder, hints of espresso, and again something herbal. Some fruit comes from the lower (southern) valley, and some from the hillside estate. Great blend, I think.

December 10, 2014 - For a Merlot, quite delicious if not a bit eccentric. Better than the average Merlot with some complexity in an odd sort of way. Enjoyable nevertheless.

February 2, 2014 - Very fruit forward (more so than the Keenan 09 Napa merlot). Medium finish.
