April 5, 2018 - Enjoyed this wine over a two hour period after decanting for an hour plus. Deep, inky dark purple in the glass with a nose that projected youthful aromas of deli ham, bacon & pepperoni with whiffs of dried grass mixed in for good measure. Fresh and vibrant with flavors of plum, blackberry, pomegranate and fig, the tannins have mellowed somewhat to reveal a lushness that carries through on the finish. Very nice wine, especially paired with grilled foods! This one will last for years to come.

November 8, 2014 - Beautiful nose of roasted meats, bramble and ripe dark fruit. The taste brings out dusty cherry dark fruit and a very interesting hint of toasted vanilla that is very enjoyable. Xery nice balance of fruit and acidity and is surprisingly ready to drink with a 45 minute decant. Very nice.
