Community Tasting Notes 4

December 22, 2015 - Big dense black fruit filled nose with spices, roses and tar - almost a bit Barolo-like. Like the nose the palate is dense and still tightly wound. It’s got huge depth and weight but enough acidity and grip so that it doesn’t feel confected. The finish is much clearer with aromatic black cherry fruit and a lovely spicy character. Lovely stuff.

December 24, 2014 - Brighter than Rapolao. More elegant. I think this will age better, but i give the slight nod to the Rapolao.

August 8, 2013 - Quite a tight nose on first pour but opens up with a brightness and floral character. Really dense and intensely flavoured with tarry black fruits and very grippy, chalky tannins. Rich but well balanced with nice zesty acidity and a floral character on the finish. Very long.

May 11, 2013 - Buen vino pero marca mucho la añada en general de la zona, con muchos verdores.....
