Community Tasting Notes 5

July 30, 2008 - A few years of bottle age has added some fullness and rounded the corners of this crisp, mineral-laden village wine. Fresh citrus still dominates, but there are oyster-shell tones and brine, and new floral elements that I hadn't noticed 8 months ago (my previous bottle). For my taste and dollars, this is as good as a village Chablis can be.

June 16, 2008 - Very nice value, lemony autere and a little briney. Excellent match with lobster.

October 14, 2007 - A consistent winner. Citrus tone, bracing minerality and acidity. Very enjoyable.

January 11, 2007 - Fresh with citrus tones. Bracing, with intense minerals. Still quite young, but very enjoyable.

May 31, 2006 - Pale straw color. Focused aromas of flint, crushed stones, lemon and honeysuckle. Lemony, stony flavors with significant minerality. Great persistence and intensity, med/light bodied, with a long stony finish. Exceedingly young, this will emerge in time and may merit a higher score.
