    September 16, 2023 - Slightly corked?

March 14, 2023 - After being very disappointed in 2018, I waited just over 4 years to try another bottle. It was well worth the wait. The wine has matured wonderfully with a nece nose, great color and excellent flavors. Tannins are resolved.

October 8, 2022 - Some bricking around the edges. Took about a half hour to start opening up and sipped over another hour. This is a lovely, balanced, smooth Brunello with a classic herbal profile. Some fruit but more sage and hint of rosemary. Still at peak.

April 13, 2019 - Decanted it last night for a few hours before trying. Still very primary. Giving little on the nose. Faint notes of cherries and earth. Extremely dark in the glass. Still primary in the mouth and dominated by the tannic structure, which gives way to some nice dried cherries, tobacco and charcoal. I have been drinking some 2013’s and this seems way younger. 2nd day a bit more evolved but still very young. I think I will drink my ‘13’s before I drink my ‘06’s. Today I rate this 90 with a lot of upside in 3-5 years

November 25, 2018 - PNP at a restaurant. Did not decant. After a half hour it was still not drinkable so we corked the bottle to take home and opened a pinot. Tried a glass several hours later that was quite good so the remainder in the freezer. Hope it is still good later this week.
