November 20, 2015 - Big nose of fruits like apricots, pear, and white fruits. Better after decant and 2+ hours. Light, but noticeable alcohol. Heavy body, good structure, lower acid. Big white fruits, oak, vanilla, light bitterness, and long white fruit finish. Great wine for people who like large white wines that are not chardonnay.

August 4, 2015 - This wine has a nose of honeysuckle, peaches, apricot, and minerals. It is very dry when first hitting the palate, yet the finish ends with residual sugar. It is like the initial dryness evaporates on the tongue -- very unique and strange. Of the white wines I have drank, I have never experienced this sensation before. The alcohol on the palate seems initially strong and it too blends away as one sips. I am not sure what to make of this wine. It will be difficult to pair with the breaded cod I am baking. I would think that it would go well with a spicy grilled white meat. I might rate it higher if I understood what I should be tasting here. To the comments of others, this is a weird wine. I almost wish I didn't open it, so that I could have shared it with others. Good luck with me finding another bottle in the store...
*** Update ***
Turns out the wine paired quite nicely with the cod -- food seemed to tame it; especially, once it opened up.1 person found this helpful Comment -

June 13, 2015 - Had this second and last bottle of this casually with friends before a BBQ, so unfortunately no notes vs. my prior less flattering review. However, from memory (from a week ago) this did not seem seem as flabby as I'd portrayed before. It think it was good and balanced.

February 21, 2015 - Clearly polarizing and I understand comments by those who didn't enjoy. I believe that's mostly a stylistic preference as this is a very unique, even wierd wine. Notes of flowers, honey, nectarine, across a long and almost botyrized finish. Needs food for support. Interesting but doesn't leave you longing for more
