December 25, 2023 - Day 2. Aroma of red fruit and cedar. Smooth flavors of cassis and tart currants. Leathery finish. Mellow, firm backbone, well integrated, fully mature with no sign of decline. Lovely wine.

April 9, 2021 - Cellar stored since acquisition. This wine is drinking very well. We decanted for 30 minutes before tasting. While I don’t think you need to be in hurry to drink the wine, it’s in a pretty good place right now. There is red fruit on the nose and palate along with some spice. The finish is medium. I found this bottle to be better than the one I drank 4 years ago.
