July 22, 2023 - 4th Saturday Brown Bagger (J&L's): Pale color with a medium mousse and fine bead. Apple, lemon and floral notes. Flavors of apple, dried honey and almond with a subtle caramel note in the finish. Excellent.

May 7, 2023 - This was really nice, in a perfect spot right now. Still on the young side but showing maturity, it shows this can have more years, I would say this can drink till 2028. Good value now

April 20, 2023 - From magnum. Gawd, what a sun-kissed, lemon yellow color this is! Absolutely gorgeous in the glass with a delicate, lacy mousse and continuous bead of bubbles. Lemon meringue, lemon compote, biscuit and brioche on the nose and palate. The mouthfeel is incredible being both bright and youthful yet complex and layered. I wish I had a case of this wine. This one bottle that finished easily and far too fast even though every sip of every glass was studied with care and contemplated. 12% alc. With cheeses, charcuterie, and pea puree (and some held back to try with grilled quail). 042023. Highly Recommended.

We had a trio of 2008 (Clos des Goisses and Rare). This was the "best" one. Fresh, at the beginning of his journey. Reductive, yuzu, some orange peel. Blalanced and precise. 94-95 -

October 26, 2021 - This is a beautiful, elegant BdB. Lot's of creamy lemon, vanilla, a little reductive note. This is so good, I can't wait to open my Amour de Deutz BdB in a few years.
