May 25, 2016 - Sine Qua Non Dinner (Formento's - Chicago IL): Nicely floral with elegant baked apple and some peach. Lean for Condrieu with moderate length and engaging textures. I brought this as a relief from SQN whites, and found it hit the spot accordingly. No surprise, others disagreed. But the Somm was on my side.

Tasted non blind.
Light yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of peach, apricot, spices and flowers. Flavors of yellow pears, lemon spritz and peach. Medium to bright acidity, medium body. Drink over the next couple of years. -

September 3, 2014 - Brilliant gold color upon which the light played. The smells are orange peel, sharp spicy, floral, mineral, and herbal notes. The tastes are green apple, sharp mandarin orange, saline, honey, and stony minerals. The finish is spicy and a bit grassy. A nice white change of pace.
