  December 8, 2021 - Except for a touch of VA on opening, as with the previous bottle, this is a lovely Nebbiolo when it settles down after an hour or so and becomes, yet again, the most fabulous QPR ever in my experience.

  October 14, 2021 - Very slightly frizzante on opening, but that dissipated within the hour or so that it was sitting in the bottle. The previous poster called this the best non-Barolo iteration of nebbiolo he's tasted; I must agree. WHAT a bargain; a stellar QPR. One left of a case, and it probably won't improve, but I think it could last a year or more.

  May 13, 2021 - Some browing but not much. Raspberry and spice nose. Pure red fruit, strawberries, bing cherries, sage, drying tannins, a touch of smoke, and a long finish. So harmonious and the best non-Barolo nebbiolo I've had.

  September 19, 2020 - Always a crowd pleaser, and even more so at this stage in its evolution. Still a year or two of tasty fun in these bottles. What an amazing QPR it was at <US$12!

  January 16, 2018 - Cork was soaked through and leaking. Glad I opened it now. Red and black cherries, roses and star anise. Enough complexity to keep you focused. Plenty of firm, earthy tannin coating the mouth and the acid is clean and bright. Good length and finish. It will keep a while longer if stored correctly.
