  May 8, 2016 - Dark and brooding, as someone said. Not getting much on the nose. Typical big bold WA cab-led blend. I wish for a longer finish and more body. But quite nice.

  March 1, 2015 - Noticeably improved over the last 6 months. Dark ruby red with traces of magenta. Dark stone fruit nose, complex, but still cool and flinty, no jam. Love the herbs and restrained dill as well. Taste is coating and dense but sharp with balanced acidity. Edges of green and maybe hints of bell pepper, but only to remind: these are the true characteristics of well made Cabernet. Finish is long, lasting, spicy, good sign of expert blending. The heat that used to be on the finish is gone. Will miss this winery, such a shame it closed.
