February 11, 2012 - Really nice bottling. If you like Rhone Rangers, this is a great bottle to enjoy with roasted salmon, or light grilled fare. Bice light crimson red color, nose was slight berry, with bright florals. The palate was a mixed Cherry compote, and evident vanilla oak. The grenache blend is gamey adding a meat essence component, this bottle has a lot going on! I;m a big fan of Naggier Vineyards already, and this suites my palate.

October 15, 2011 - Little hot on the nose right when opend but that passed after 30 or 45 minutes, revealing nice red fruits and light spice.... some of the residual heat never really went away so I'm wondering if the wine is pretty much peaked and on it's slide. Still very tasty.... but maybe it's time to drink if you have some on hand. We've enjoyed many bottles over the last couple years since we first discovered the wine and brought back four bottles of the 07 when we were in Napa last.
