  October 21, 2006 - Possibly heat damaged - cork protruding slightly. Mid ruby with hints of garnet. Initially acidic, wth a dry tanic finish, though coming more into balance with food. After a while the NSG rotting meaty flavours coming through. Reasonable length. OK, not sure whether to leave a bit or whether bottle was out of condition. Quite good but nothing more.
